Fantastic Training Opportunity in Aerial Harness Work
As part of the Belfast City Hall re-opening celebrations on 17th October 2009, the Beat Initiative are offering a unique opportunity to try out aerial harness work with one of the most experienced teachers from the UK (Kate Lawrence, University of Surrey). Beat is hoping to recruit aerial performers to take part in an opening spectacle, animating the facade of City Hall. Further performance opportunities may arise as part of the Carnival programme in 2010 and coming years.
The workshop is open to anyone with a good level of fitness: prior experience in climbing, circus, gymnastics, acrobatics or dance is desirable but not essential.
