5) The Puppet Parade

12.30pm The Puppet Parade sets off from Custom House Square
Join the Puppet Parade fun: as floats, carnival bands, hundreds of performers and puppets of all sizes take to the streets
1.00pm View the carnival parade in full-swing at Royal Avenue and experience the wonder of the celebratory spectacle
6) The Puppet Picnic
12.00 noon to 5.30pm Belfast City Hall
Music from Belfast and Brazil; puppet performances and a circus show: the Puppet Picnic is a great afternoon out for all the family
Carnival Marquee
12 to 5pm Fun activity workshops with Beat Puppeteers; Artsekta; the Motion Project; A Taste of Belfast; and Jitterbug Jackson
Carnival Music Stage
12 to 5.30pm Love Music Hate Racism DJs; Magwere; Citybeat Star Search; Ulster Scots Folk Orchestra; Bongar; The Puppet Band; and headlining at 4.30pm, 60’s revivalists: The Vals
Puppet Stage
Puppet shows at Stumpy, the tree stump stage, with Brothers Dimm and Tiny Beat
Picnic Lawn
2.15pm Belfast Circus School’s Youth Circus present A Fly in My Soup
From 12 noon: paint on Trans Urban Arts’ wall; bump into wandering entertainers; chat to Homely Planet Radio; be a star with Citybeat and visit WheelWork’s ArtCart
7) The Carnival Party with Force Ten Crew

8) The Beat Carnival Fun Afternoon

Puppets and music. Sesame Tree, Northern Ireland's very own version of Sesame Street, will be showing a couple of episodes of Sesame Tree from the show's first series, and maybe a few special guests will come along too!
Bongar will be playing. Musicians: bring an instrument and jam along.
9) Samba ’68: Carnival Wind-down Party
The Menagerie, University Street
